At Batavia Covenant Church we have a network of leadership that plans, prays, and advocates for the students and their spiritual development.
Parent Volunteers: We are always looking for ways to get parents involved in the youth ministries at BCC. Whether volunteers are greeting students, bringing snacks, helping with a fundraiser, or attending a retreat or event…we’re all a team!
Small Group Leaders: We are very blessed to have a team of adult volunteers who pour into the lives of our students, pointing them to Christ on a weekly basis. Our small group leaders spend time with their small groups almost every Tuesday night, building relationships and digging deep into their lives and their faith. These adults are a huge part of the youth ministry program at BCC and provide our students with tremendous leaders and mentors.
Student Leaders: Our student leaders at BCC are empowered to lead and serve in areas according to their gifts and passions within the youth ministries and the greater church body. More specifically, they are in charge of planning and running our Friday Night Live program. Under the supervision of the Youth Director, these students spend time learning about leadership through the process of prayerfully planning and running an actual program for students in grades 3-5 that meets four times a year.
If you are interested in being involved in any of these areas, please contact the Director of Worship Arts & Youth Ministries, Dan Raymond.
