Eric started as lead pastor at BCC in February 2017. Eric graduated from North Park University with a degree in Philosophy and Theology and graduated from North Park Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. In the past, Eric has served the church in various ministries, including Covenant camping ministry, youth and children’s ministries, and worship arts. Throughout his time in ministry, he has sensed a call to preaching and teaching, mentoring and discipleship, and shaping the worship life of a community. His hope is that all would know the transforming love of Jesus Christ, and that in everything that we do our Lord and God would receive all the praise and glory.

In his spare time, you may find Eric spending time with his family, jogging or cycling, or gardening. Eric and Alanna have been married since 2009 and have two lovely children, Aimee and Jeremiah. Together, the Landins love music and dance, going out to eat, and getting to know our neighbors.

Leesa joined the BCC staff in the fall of 2009.  She graduated from Elmhurst College with a B.A. in Elementary Education and from National-Louis University with an M.A. in Early Childhood Education. She also feels privileged to walk alongside each child’s parents during this very important time in their child’s life. Leesa is honored to work with staff members whose common goal is to create a welcoming and enriching atmosphere where children are highly valued for their unique differences and are encouraged to use their curiosity to discover the world around them.

In her spare time, Leesa loves to spend time outdoors, bird watching, reading, knitting, kayaking, riding bikes and spending time with family and friends. She has been married to her husband, Dan, since 1991 and together they have three adult children: Jake, Sam and Belle. Much of their time is spent joyfully supporting their children at bike races, track meets and ballet performances.
