Lawn Care

Do you like spending time outdoors? Have a passion for clean edges, straight lines, and  manicured spaces? Can you spare a few hours in a week to help keep the Batavia Covenant Church lawn in tip top shape? We are looking for volunteers to help with lawn mowing duties for the 2021 lawn cutting season. We are building a team of volunteers that are willing to share the lawn cutting duties on a rotating schedule. With a few volunteers we will be able to complete this important task with approximately 3 hours a week. As part of the lawn crew, you would only be called on to volunteer a few times across the season. Please contact Ken Carlson at kcarl227@yahoo.com for more information on how to participate.

All Church Bible Study

During the month of March, we invite you to join us for a new Bible study offering called Kingdom Mosaic: Life Together. Each Tuesday evening in March, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, we will meet on Zoom to discuss this curriculum, developed by the ECC, which engages scripture to learn about justice, racial righteousness, and the call to embrace the diverse mosaic of the kingdom of God. We will discuss how scripture calls us to respond to present-day issues of injustice, particularly systemic racism. Mark your calendars for these five sessions and email Miranda in the church office at miranda@bataviacov.org if you are interested in participating.
