Welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our preschool program and to carefully consider our school for your child's early education experience. Batavia Covenant Preschool is a part day, not-for-profit school established by the Batavia Covenant Church and licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Our preschool was created to serve both the children of the community and of the church, as well as their families. We have been faithfully serving the children of this community for 33 years.
The purpose of the preschool is to provide a developmentally appropriate, high-quality early learning experience, in a loving, Christian environment for the growth and development of the young child. We believe children are unique individuals who will grow and develop in their own special ways through play and hands on experiences. By providing a secure and stimulating environment and with the guidance of competent, caring persons, we are giving children the opportunity to learn joyfully and appropriately for their age. Teachers are able to connect well and meet the needs of each child, as our classes have smaller teacher to child ratios than the minimum required by DCFS.

Classes
Pre-K Class (4s & 5s) Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9:30am-12:00pm
For children who have turned 4 years old by September 1, 2024 and who typically turn 5 in the fall or winter. Some children may join this class if they are turning 5 later in the year, but are developmentally for the structure of the class. Some children may join this class to have a growth year before entering Kindergarten. Once all children are registered for the school year, if there is space in our Senior Friday class, Pre-K children may attend for 5 days/week. Toilet training is required to join this class.
Senior Class (4s & 5s) Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 9:30am-12:00pm
For children who have turned 4 years old by September 1, 2024.
Once all children are registered for the school year, if there is space in both of our Senior classes, children may attend for 5 days/week.
Toilet training is required to join this class.
Junior Class (3s & 4s) Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am-12:00pm
For children who have turned 3 years old by September 1, 2024.
Once all children are registered for the school year, is there is space in both of our Junior classes, children may attend for 5 days/week.
Toilet training is required to join this class.
Mini Class (2s & 3s) Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am-11:30am
For children who have turned 2 years old by September 1, 2024
Children do not have to be toilet trained to join this class.
Enrichment Classes
We offer two Enrichment class options on Mondays-Thursdays from 12:00-1:30pm.
If your child is ready to stay for an extended time period, you can consider these options:
LUNCH BUNCH-Mondays & Tuesdays-Children bring a nut free lunch from home, eat lunch together and enjoy extra activities in the classroom.
YOGA with Mrs. Coyle-Wednesdays & Thursdays-children learn fun and easy yoga poses, learn about their emotions and how to calm themselves and become stronger! After the Yoga class, together the children eat a nut free lunch brought from home.
The daily fee for each Enrichment class is $15, that is paid monthly and added to your child's monthly tuition payment.
Registration 2024-25 School Year
Registration for the 2024-25 school year begins in January 2024.

Beginning at 8:00am on each of these dates of registration, a link to register for each class will be made available on our website. During the week of registration, you will pay the $95 Registration fee by check sent to the preschool or it may be brought to the preschool office.
